What is the Dengue IgM Tests?

The bite of a female Aedes mosquito transmits the dengue virus. Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral disease that has rapidly spread to almost all regions in recent years. Dengue is associated with high-grade fever, severe eye pain, nausea or vomiting, rash, joint pains, and headache. As the human gets infected by the dengue virus, the body's immune system starts fighting against the infection by making antibodies against the virus. The antibodies become detectable within 4 to 5 Days. The dengue IgM and IgG test is used qualitatively or quantitatively to recognize dengue virus IgM and IgG antibodies. The bite of a female Aedes mosquito transmits the dengue virus.
